Late Pontius goal gives United win over Revolution
D.C. United looked ready for a third draw in their last four games, but Chris Pontius changed that when he scored his first goal since returning from the injury that sidelined him for the end of last season. Pontius gave United a 2-1 win over the New England Revolution at Gillette Stadium on Saturday, curling a right-footed shot in the 82nd minute. The goal, Pontius' first since last August, came three minutes after he entered the match and improved United to 2-2-2 on the year.
